From the middle of May until the middle
of June the theatre wrede
+ has been invited to Canada for two projects.
Project 1
The theatre videowalk "The Discovery of Disappearance"
was brought to the attention of the Canada Council for the Arts and
they were so impressed, that the production was invited to Canada.
In meetings with theatres in Vancouver, it will be discussed whether
the format of the theatre videowalk can be adapted for a German-Canadian
co-production.
Project 2
Thanks to an invitation from the Quest theatre, Calgary and with the
support of the Canada Council for the Arts, theatre wrede+
will work on another project in conjunction with the author Vern Thiessen:
the development of a German-Canadian play for children about death.
